About Us
Wynndel is a rural school about 15 minutes north of Creston on Hwy 3. There are eighteen students at the school this year in kindergarten to grade 6. We have two classrooms, one primary and one intermediate, where students recieve lots of individual attention and instruction that focusses on building their individual strengths. The staff consist of three teachers, a part time secretary, noon hour supervisor, teaching assistant and a principal who is on site two days a week.
Our school goal this year is "Building Community" and, with the participation and support of parents and community members, we have scheduled many activities that help students learn and practice social skills such as being friendly, helpful, welcoming and tolerant.
