Principal’s Message

 

Welcome to Erickson Elementary School!  On this webpage you will find information about our school and programs as well as pictures of our students, staff and parents.  Erickson Elementary is a school of approximately 200 students, Kindergarten to Grade 7.  It is nestled in a picturesque valley, surrounded by verdant mountains, just on the outskirts of Creston.  Our school building is attractive and comfortable and our playground includes a soccer and baseball field, sliding hill, several adventure playgrounds, picnic tables and contemplative “nature spots”.  Our students are active, creative and eager to learn.  They love to be involved in sports, science, fine arts and special activities around the community.  We serve the needs of a wide range of diverse learners and encourage all students to be compassionate and tolerant.  We have an experienced and dedicated staff and an extremely supportive Parent Advisory Council.   We also appreciate the support of the larger community through our Breakfast and Lunch programs.
